PAPYRUS for prevention of young suicide is a national charity, bringing hope where there is hopelessness.

It has a big agenda and welcomes the support of new members. Anyone interested in helping to reduce the number of young people who take their own lives will be warmly welcomed.

Hero Next Door is a new charity events group based in Aberdeen. In 2008 a close friend took his own life and now some of his friends have decided to start this group to raise money and awareness for a charity who work in suicide prevention. All the money we raise goes to PAPYRUS.

We are holding all sorts of events in Aberdeen from local gigs to quiz nights, speed dating and Ceilidhs.
